Lagos State don record the first rain for 2020 for the Akesan/Obadore area of the Igando/Ikotun Local Council Development Area.
The rain wey start for about 1.15 pm dey lasted about 20 minutes and com cause one small flood for some streets of the Ebute Kekere Community.
Already pipo wey dey live for the area don expressed concern over the early rain, as dem dey stress say dem may be in for another herculean year coping with flooding for the area.
One concerned resident of Ebute Kekere community wey b Alhaji Wale Isiaka don tok say “we fit dey expect another hellish rainy season if nothing dey done by the government make dem help us tar our streets or at least grade am and provide drainage for easy passage of rainwater.”
Meanwhile, the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) don predict say southern states go experience hazy to partly cloudy conditions.
“For southern states, hazy to partly cloudy conditions don dey expected over the region with early morning mistfog over the coastal states.
“Day and Night temperatures of the region don dey expected to be 33 to 37 degree Celsius and 22 to 25 degree Celsius,” e tok.
