The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) don tok say e neva receive the certified true copy of the Tuesday Supreme Court Judgment on Imo governorship election.
The apex court don remove Gov Emeka Ihedioha of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, on Tuesday and don declare the All Progressive Congress, APC’s Hope Uzodinma as the Governor of Imo State.
As dem dey deliver the judgment, Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun tok say 236,000 votes due to Uzodinma and APC from 318 polling units don mistakenly dey excluded and go be added.
Reacting, INEC National Commissioner and Chairman, Voter Education Committee wey be Mr Festus Okoye, for one interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday for Abuja, don tok that INEC go comply with the judgment once dem serve am with the enrolled copy of the judgment.
Okoye don tok say the commission no get any problem ontop issuing Certificate of Return in compliance with a court order, but dem dey need one copy of the enrolled court judgment make dem know clearly wetin e don order to do.
